Abstract

This study examines thermal preconditioning effects on bare foot sensitivity within total immobilization scenarios. Subject MJ (Maria Jade) was positioned within the Immobilizer sheath—a heavy-duty containment vessel—and secured using leather strap compression, affixing her internally and to the Tickle Table apparatus. Steel ankle cuffs and a ratcheting T-Bar toe restraint system ensured zero mobility.
